What Our Classroom Looks like
To keep the integrity of our students’ Mandarin learning, the design of our curriculum is based on a holistic approach. The age range is from infant to 10+ years old - with content and activities that are age-appropriate.

The framework of our curriculum can be described as a grid, with a horizontal line following seasonal events for each month that’s matched to a vertical line which follows universal themes, such as life cycle, elements of the universe and so on.
The classes we offer currently are: Mommy and Me, our 3-5 years group class, Tutoring.

If you are interested in organizing your own group, please contact us, and we will design the curriculum based on your needs.

Description: In this class, kids start reinforcing their knowledge of mandarin byways of coloring bubble characters, decoding characters, familiarizing the words with calligraphy strokes and brushwork, and reading simple Chinese picture books. Four and five-years-old are encouraged to write characters, though it’s not required.

This class follows thematic units while adding more interaction and character recognition.

6-10+ years old class: Journal, textbook, sentence writing Click here for location and schedule
Description: At this step, as children’s cognitive abilities develop quickly, we teach them Mandarin by way of free writing exercises in a journal, as well as lessons in written logic. Students are expected not only to make sentences but also to complete whole paragraphs to express their feelings and describe things around them. The teacher’s job is to inspire them and facilitate their ability to learn by themselves. Typing depends on students’ proficiency.
